VinFast signs 50-plus dealer partners to build its electric-motorcycle network in India

Letters of intent across 34 cities in 15 states and territories: the Vietnamese brand’s next push into the world’s largest two-wheeler market.

VinFast India signed letters of intent with more than 50 electric-motorcycle dealer partners on October 8, 2026, to establish showrooms across 34 cities in 15 states and territories — a distribution buildout ahead of the brand’s electric-motorcycle launch in India.

The planned network covers Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka, among others — a deliberate spread across the country’s largest two-wheeler markets.

India is the world’s largest two-wheeler market with still-low electric adoption — the combination VinFast is betting the dealer network on. The LOI wave is the brand’s distribution move; the vehicles and pricing that will fill those showrooms are the next thing to watch.
